“The biggest thing I have learned from HSRA is never to give up.  Even when times get hard, there is always a way to get through it.  The staff here has been with me all the way since I walked through the doors three years ago.  Being a part of the 26 Seconds/ BMOR campaign was the highlight of my life.  It was my first taste of the life that I have been dreaming of since I was a child. I will never forget my first performance, or giving my first autograph. HSRA has so many opportunities for their students.  I  truly have been blessed.  HSRA has shaped me into who I am today.  Thanks to HSRA, I have had the opportunity to grow not only as a person, but as an artist.”

"At HSRA, the most important thing to me is that I am noticed. I get plenty one on one time with staff and teachers to find the place where I fit. To express my strengths and figure where I can improve. HSRA is a place where me succeeding is not only important to me, but to all the staff, and where I have the support network that I need to come out of high school a step ahead. At HSRA I am able to express myself and have it apply to achieving my high school diploma! HSRA has given me a place to grow and learn the best way for me. Im more than just a student here."

"HSRA made a heavy impact on me. From learning about the world, to exploring the world, I had never left Minnesota until I came to HSRA. I always had dreams of leaving the state and doing what I love doing (music) while experiencing new things. I became a rapper around my 7th grade year, I wasn't good at it. But I started to get better as time flew by. I came to HSRA and my skill of music sky rocketed threw the roof. From mixing and mastering, to performing on stage in front of hundreds of people, I've learned so much."

"HSRA has not only given me a great education, but a family and a future. When I came here, I had no plans for college. I was just in high school to get it done, and after being here for just a couple of months, my whole life had changed. I loved coming to school. My high school became like my home. I got involved with the 26 Seconds (BMOR) Campaign sponsored by State Farm, and I feel like I’m actually making a difference in the world. It’s given me a lot of things to put on my college resumé and I have a solid plan for the next 5 years and the rest of my life."
